RNC SUMMER MEETING
Summer Meeting is a quarterly event the RNC holds for their donors and Republican members in the summer.
The approved vision board and tentative color palette was given to me and is featured below. I took these ideas and made them tangible as I built out the digital and print collateral for the event. The logo and credential options below were my solutions that were presented to the Chairman’s office for final sign off.
In years past, the credentials dictated the “look” for the entirety of the suite, therefore it was imperative that the design options I worked up expressed the extent of what the vision board could creatively offer. I took Option A in a more traditional direction, Option B was emblematic of a retro 60’s music experience, and Option C featured a 20’s sophisticated pattern and a formal background.
After incorporating feedback from the Chairman’s office, the design we decided on can be seen below and is a blend between credential option A and B.
RNC Spring Retreat
Similar to Summer Meeting, the RNC Spring Retreat is specifically for the RNC’s influential donors. In 2021 this retreat was held in Palm Beach, Florida and also at Mar-a-Lago. I was given the logo and tentative color palette and asked to mockup cocktail napkins, table decor, credentials and other print collateral for the event. The vision board and logo is featured below, along with my final products.
The event occurred over three days, each day having a different “theme” but all falling under a similar creative umbrella. With this in mind, I updated the color palette with more greens, ultimately adding additional dimension to the suite. Within this framework, I had to strike a balance between tropical and casual with sophisticated and formal. Utilizing bamboo and a more “tiki” theme, I took the lunch creative in a more relaxed direction - using pink and rough sketched bamboo artwork. To add a level of sophistication to the dinner menu, I crafted hand-done ornaments - even creating my own pattern with them.
